Yes, we treat various skin types. These include sensitive skin, hyper pigmentation, sun damage, fine lines and wrinkle, blemishes, lifting and firming, puffy eyes, dark circle and lines.

Can I wear make-up before?

We recommend not wearing make-up as we want to work with clear and clean skin. If you do have make-up on, the therapist will remove it during the cleansing part of the facial.

Can I have a facial after Botox?

We advise leaving a gap of 24 hours between Botox and a facial. We also advise consulting your clinical practitioner to get the best advice.

I’m unsure what my skin type is. What facial do I choose?

When you come to Juju’s you will fill out a consultation form, which will take 5 to 10 minutes to complete, and the therapist will then assess your skin type.

I haven't had a facial before. Which one should I choose?

You will fill out a consultation form with relevant details for 5 to 10 minutes. The therapist will then assess your skin and go through what facial type best suits you. You can then proceed with the facial.

What happens during a facial?

You will fill out a consultation form, then be taken to a private room with your therapist. We recommend wearing comfortable clothes as you will be lying down for approximately an hour. The therapist will then assess your skin and from there, she will cleanse and tone your face and apply moisturiser. This will be followed by a gentle exfoliation to remove dead skin cells which will open your pores up and then a peel.

After the skin health assessment, the therapist will perform a meta-skin analysis by cleansing your skin and using a magnifying lamp to determine best treatment. They will then treat or repair any skin concerns. Finally, the therapist will use moisturiser to hydrate and protect your skin. This includes a touch point massage to release any tension for ultimate relaxation. Expect instant results.

Can I have a facial if I'm pregnant?

We only accept pregnant women if they have a letter permitting the treatment from their doctor. If you are breastfeeding, please consult a doctor.

What aftercare should I follow?

Get a good night’s sleep, eat wholesome nutritious foods and hydrate.

Spray Tanning

What do I need to do before a spray tan?

We recommend waxing 2 to 3 days in advance of a spray tan. We advise to rigorously exfoliate the night before or on day to get best results. Shaving can be done after spray tan has been washed off – please do not do it before as brown shaving dots will emerge.

Will I be required to take off my clothes before a spray tan?

When you get inside the room, you will be taken inside and asked by therapist to get undressed. If you want to leave your underwear on, you’re welcome to but please be aware that you may get tan lines.

How long does a spray tan last for?

Typically a spray tan will last for 5-7 days.

How can I maintain the spray tan colour consistency for longer?

After 5-7 days, we recommend coming back to the salon for another spray tan. Please ensure to exfoliate beforehand.

Can I shower after a spray tan?

It is best to wash off the solution after eight hours or more.

Waxing

How long should my hair be before a wax?

Ideally, a minimum of an inch. You need to wait 2 weeks for another wax appointment so growth comes through and skin will be smooth and even.

What is the difference between Brazilian and Hollywood wax?

The ‘Brazilian’ usually leaves a landing strip of hair at the front but removing hair below and your backside. The Hollywood removes all hair from the front, middle and back.

I never had a wax before. Will it hurt?

We use two different types: hot wax and strip wax. Hot wax is for intimate areas and strip wax is for larger areas like arms and legs.

With hot wax, we’ve been told by clients it is virtually painless but this all depends on individuals’ pain thresholds. Hot wax is known to be less painful than strip wax – we never use strip wax on intimate areas.

What treatments do you need a patch test?

LVL lashes, eyelashes and eyebrow tinting. We don’t accept clients who haven’t had a patch test before. Please wait 24 hours and give us a call if anything happens.
